Maria Parveen Memorial Library & Computer Centre has been created in the loving memory of Madam Maria Perveen. Her commendable dedication to spreading knowledge cannot be summed in words. Maria served as a dedicated librarian in St. Mary’s since 1980, till she breathed her last on 22nd April 2020. In 1982 she set up the first computer center in St. Mary’s Library. Maria Parveen Memorial Computer Center commemorates her vision and her pursuit of excellence for her students.

‘Devotion to St. Mary’s and it’s pupils’, was Maria’s motto to live by! Her free spirit and creativity set her apart for a career as the Chief librarian that lasted over 40 years. She always lived in the ‘the moment’, and had a spark in her life. Maria will be remembered by St. Marians for her commitment and perseverance.
